St. Jude S'travaganza |

The owners of Valley View | K&D Agri Systems and Valley View Bearing & Supply, Fred & Susan Cathcart, chair a group of volunteers each year to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN. In 1993 they lost their 9 year old daughter, Donna, to a brain tumor. Donna was a patient at St. Jude Children's Hospital. Susan stated in the Jonesboro Celebrate Magazine, "After Donna died we vowed that we would work tirelessly so that someday no child would have to endure what she went through and that no parent would know the grief Fred and I have suffered". They have kept that promise by organizing the St. Jude S'travaganza each year since 1993. As of February 2011 this wonderful group of volunteers have raised over TWO MILLION DOLLARS for St. Jude. The fund raiser is held on Superbowl Sunday each year. We invite you to join us for this wonderful cause. Call our office for tickets which go on sale in January each year. The food is WONDERFUL and well worth the price of a ticket but the money raised all goes to help sick children! |
